RSM-San Diego: A World-Class Math Education in Southern California

The Russian School of Mathematics (RSM) is an award-winning, after school math program for K-12 students. Featured in The Atlantic magazine as a leader in the nation’s “Math Revolution,” our mission is to help students of all levels develop a strong foundation in mathematics and critical thinking skills that will help them throughout their lives. RSM-San Diego is our newest branch in southern California and is now enrolling new students.

What is the Russian School of Mathematics?

The Russian School of Mathematics is an award-winning, afterschool math program for K-12 students. We help children of all levels build a solid math foundation and develop critical-thinking and problem-solving skills. Our systematic curriculum and approach is based on the best practices of math schools in the former Soviet Union and Europe, adapted to the US educational environment.

We firmly believe, and our twenty years of experience have proven, that a classroom environment is the best learning environment. A peer group of similar ability provides the perfect conditions for accelerated learning by: introducing friendly competition, rich intellectual dialogue, and the social element.
