RSM is an award-winning, after-school math program for K-12 students that is built on the best practices of math schools from the former Soviet Union and Europe, adapted for the U.S. educational environment. Voted Boston Parents’ Best of the Best for the past four consecutive years and recently featured in The Atlantic magazine as a prominent leader in the nation’s “Math Revolution,” our mission is to help students of all levels develop a strong foundation in mathematics and also advance critical thinking skills that will help them throughout their lives.

Since 1997, RSM has consistently shown that any student can excel in mathematics; our students have demonstrated exceptional scores on both national or international math competitions, gained admission to top colleges and universities, earned remarkable grades in school, and optimized self-confidence in their academic abilities. It's no surprise, then, that the subject has developed the stigma of being difficult or irrelevant. But RSM uses effective teaching strategies to remove the stigma and nurture agile math minds.

Our students consistently score high in national and international math competitions, including Math Kangroo, Johns Hopkins - Center for Talented Youth (SAT I testing where RSM has been recognized as one of the best schools in the country), SAT I and II testing, and American Mathematics Contest (AMC 8), among others.
